About Us

My name is Lesley Gaze and I was born an animal lover.   I was raised in the country on a lifestyle block surrounded by my constant companions, the animals.  They were my friends and confidantes, they knew all my secrets and never told a soul.  I still feel closer to my animals than most people. The cats love me unconditionally and are always so pleased to be with me - they are my friends.

I have been a breeder and trainer of quarter horses for several years and I first registered as a breeder of Birman and Exotic Shorthair cats in 2001.  As my interest in cats and breeding grew, horses were slowly replaced by cats and eventually I sold my last horse to concentrate on my growing family of cats...

I now live on a lifestyle block in Margate, Tasmania, with my husband Andrew and our two children Brett and Nathan.  Our extended family of animals includes a miniature cow, a Dalmation dog and my family of cats.

As my interest and knowledge grew, so did the quality of the cats I was breeding.  I breed for soundness of health, temperament and a pleasing appearance.  My cats are consistently placing in the show ring including at a national level.  I am always striving for perfection - even though I know that this can never be reached!

My cats enjoy some of the best facilities possible, including a 100m² outdoor enclosure that all the breeding cats spend time in.  The best premium foods are available to them and they live in very clean and tidy conditions.  I spend many hours sitting outside in the enclosure myself, together with the cats, just watching them running around, playing and having fun.  I love seeing them safe and happy - and that in turn makes me happy.
